We were lucky to catch up with Antoine Baynes recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Antoine, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
Detroit is MoTown, Motor city, and is widely known for it’s hard working citizens and hustlers. We don’t wait for doors to open; we create them. If you’ve seen the movie 300; most of us have that state of mind. I was raised city where success is your only option; because success is your only way out. My dad was also teaching me the importance of hard work and to get the job done with zero excuses.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Consistency, Discipline, and Integrity are just three great qualities to have. Everyone would love a million dollars in their account right now, but how do we get there? It’s the work you put into your dreams that will will make them come true. We set goals not just to dream about them, yet to live in our dreams and watch them come true. We have to be consistent on working on our goals, but in order to do that we must become discipline. Move yourself away from all distractions. and never compromise your integrity to gain something in this world.
As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
If you want something you’ve never had; Do something you’ve never done. Think about it.. Then think outside the box.
