Meet Ashley Maven

We recently connected with Ashley Maven and have shared our conversation below.

Ashley, thank you so much for joining us. You are such a positive person and it’s something we really admire and so we wanted to start by asking you where you think your optimism comes from?
This question is near and dear to me as so many people point out my optimism and even have said things like “I want whatever happy pills you’re on!” This is probably one of my life’s greatest victories.

Y’see, I used to be the most in pain person I’ve ever known. I grew up in mental/emotional abuse and trauma being raised by a diagnosed borderline personality disorder parent and a narcissistic personality disorder parent. I was the scape goat/punching bag of the family.

Starting at 5 years old I remember being suicidal. I was brought to a psychoanalyst and there started a long journey of psychoanalysis, psychology, and psychiatry. By my young 20s I was put on 11 psychoactive medications to attempt to treat a lifetime of torment. Here are just some of the diagnosis I carried: Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Depression, Suicidal, ADHD, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, and more I’m forgetting by now.

Everyday was a battle just to get through another day.

I thought from a young age if I could live my dreams, then I would finally be happy. Well, but a young age I ambitiously had lived most of my bucket list, including riding at the highest levels of dressage (horseback riding). I quickly found out that this wasn’t the answer. I was living my dreams and was living in pure torment.

I set out to learn how the mind works for myself. I fell into the field of neuroplasticity and long story short, through applying what I was learning from trial and error, somewhere along the way I stepped into freedom.

I was told from a very young age that I could only manage the symptoms of suffering, but I am living proof that is simply not true. I live in incredible joy. Free from these diagnosis and subsequent medications etc, I am truly free.

And now I help my clients all over the world do the same in my Premiere Mentorship Program and my group program Joy Rising.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I offer a revolutionary approach to inner world transformations. My clients all have access to an app for their devices that have tons of resources including my Mind Gym. The processes here help build new neural pathways in the mind as well as new unconscious resources. So instead of someone trying to strong arm and white knuckle change in their mind and inner world, they are given game changing resources that make change and transformation enjoyable, fun, and yet very powerful.

I have found that as people prosper their inner worlds this way, they see their outer world (realities) prosper as well.

Most people come to me with a focus to get out of some sort of suffering. But what I do doesn’t stop there. Instead my programs are designed to help people walk into emotional freedom and joy centered lives while also moving towards dreams, goals, and desires in their heart all from the inside out.

Some people have called me the Mircale Life Mentor, which I adore! But really the key is to get the mind working for you instead of against you. When that happens, incredible things happen.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Three areas:

The Field of Neuroplasticity

Life & Success Coaching – being an effective mentor

And my faith. I have an extensive background in inner healing and deliverance ministry as well.

My advice:

Be “crazy” enough to believe you can do it no matter what other say or society, etc etc etc. Challenge the limits in your mind. And go after the things hidden in your heart that make you light up, ignite your passion, and give you a profound sense of purpose and belonging. Here lies your brilliance.

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?
Someone who is serious about real results and lasting transformations and is excited to partner with me on their own special journey to freedom, joy centered living, and dreams realized.

What I do is not some sort of magical pill or hocus pocus done to you. But instead more like a participation sport in which I get to hold your hand on an incredible journey together.

I often call my clients “soul clients”, because unlike some sterile office visit, our journey is much more in depth so I’m careful to choose clients that I know will let me help them, implement what they’re learning, and who really really want it!

I’m blessed to get to support clients all over the world! Each journey is so unique and hence my mentorships are custom tailored to each of their exact needs. But a common thing all my clients and I get to have is a fun filled life changing journey.
