Meet ATM Dave0

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful ATM Dave0 a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

ATM, thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with us today. We’re excited to dive into your story and your work, but first let’s start with a broader topic that might be stopping many of our readers from pursuing their dreams – haters, nay-sayers, etc. How have you managed to persist despite haters and nay-sayers that inevitably follow folks who are doing something unique, special or off the beaten path?
I don’t participate in the negative. It’s more like, after I found my path, I stuck with it; I don’t see any detractors because it forces them to either like it or move out of the way and respect it. I can’t see any naysayers, critics, or competition other than the man I see in the mirror every morning. I’m just growing better, advancing, and elevating each year. I came across this remark from Anthon St. Maarten: “The vision of your true destiny does not reside within the blinkered outlook of the nay-sayers.” I obtained from that statement that you can’t push the vision on closed narrow minded people because many adverse individuals can’t see the vision or don’t want to see you progress. I always felt that believing in myself was the most crucial thing anyways because why give their perspective any kind of power or jurisdiction to do anything?

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Professionally I am focused on building a legacy for my family and making sure that my brand will be kept going to my expectations when ever I’m not around. I am continuously thinking and creating new ways and new marketing tools to promote and push ATM. By doing that, I know my business will expand to its full capability and potential. ATM grows and succeeds annually consumers should tune in for everything ATM has to come this Fall/Winter 23’ season as well as months ahead. They can definitely expect to see some new cleaner looks, better feeling quality, and improved faster turn around times. Overall the ATM revamp is now here and ready to takeover.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Consistency, resilience, and quality over quantity will always be three major factors impacting my journey. When it comes to being a business owner, the path is similar to a ladder; you must maintain progress which implements the push of consistency. Mishaps arise in the fast-paced world; no one or nothing is perfect but the ability to recover swiftly and with diligence reveals raw resilience.

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?
The most impactful things my parents have taught me are how to overcome obstacles and challenges, how to create strong character, and how to have integrity in my hustle. I don’t know where I’d be if I wasn’t constantly striving to be a better man. They made certain that I understood the wisdom they have gained throughout the course of their lives in order to avoid their same mistakes and L’s. Although life is a learning lesson about growing and building from the ground up, I would like to thank and appreciate my parents for all the God given wisdom and the gift of free game about navigating life.
