Meet Badmon Zae

We were lucky to catch up with Badmon Zae recently and have shared our conversation below.

Badmon, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
I was overweight as a child. Once I started exercising and eating healthy I lost the weight. Once I was able to wear the clothes I wanted and I felt good about my appearance it was over. No one could tell me anything!

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I honestly don’t know how to answer that. I find things like going to the beach and amusement park exciting. I make music, it’s easy for me and a part of my Constant every day so i wouldn’t call it exciting. As far as new things im working on, I dropped a new single called “ODB” available on all platforms. I am also working on merch that is tentatively dropping by summer. I am open to booking and features. I will also have an album out by the end of the year .

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
My ability to freestyle, knowledge of the fashion industry and trends so I’m able to create my aesthetic successfully, and knowledge of how the music business actually works. Don’t go against the grain, and do things that go against who you are. You will be fine if you remember that.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
The 48 laws of power, most definitely. The law in there that helped me the most was law 47; Never go past the mark you aimed for in victory, no when to stop.
