We were lucky to catch up with Belles in Boots Productions recently and have shared our conversation below.
Belles in Boots , thank you so much for joining us. You are such a positive person and it’s something we really admire and so we wanted to start by asking you where you think your optimism comes from?
Our optimism comes from the perfect match! In our business we team up with consignors to match buyers and horses. As we see excitement from buyers and consignors we are energized! The icing on the cake is seeing a perfect match and later receiving updates from happy buyers and horses.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
Belles in Boots Productions organizes and produces the Southern Belle Classic: the South’s Elite Horse Sale. It is held in the spring of every year at the picturesque Stable View in Aiken, SC. This year’s sale is March 22-23 and is open to the public as well as live streamed online. Guests will be on the edge of their seats as they watch sixty top-notch horses from across the nation being auctioned live! In addition to watching the adrenaline-filled auction, attendees can enjoy food, drinks, entertainment and shopping from local and national vendors.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
The qualities which have been impactful in our journey are customer service, integrity, and discernment. We achieve effective customer service by providing thorough and timely responses. We purposely operate with a tone of respect, appreciation, and genuine interest. Our business is built on relationships, and relationships are built on integrity. Our business relationships expect and deserve honesty and fairness. We must use exceptional discernment when hand-picking our catalog of horses as well as in daily business decisions.
How can folks who want to work with you connect?
We are always looking to form mutually beneficial relationships with other businesses. We are fortunate to collaborate with other small businesses as well as national brands and are currently looking to add additional vendors and advertising partners.
