Meet Bleugangsta

We recently connected with Bleugangsta and have shared our conversation below.

Bleugangsta , thank you so much for taking the time to share your lessons learned with us and we’re sure your wisdom will help many. So, one question that comes up often and that we’re hoping you can shed some light on is keeping creativity alive over long stretches – how do you keep your creativity alive?
My creativeness come from my life experience. Everyday it’s something to write about. A situation I haven’t addressed yet. My life experience is literally my muse. I’m always purchasing beats before I even finish a project.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
(Beautifully, Living, Everyday, Until, God, Answers, N, Guides, Steps, To, Accomplishments)- Bleugangsta! Bleugangsta the artist, poet, dancer and so much more. My focus is to get more people familiar with the name, the sound, the person. I’ve been doing independent music for over 10 years now. I recently just dropped an EP on December 25, 2022, called “The Wake”. It’s on all platforms right now. Even though it’s a short EP; it’s still worth the listen all the way through with no skips. I’m already working on the drop date for the Summer project too. So I have more music to drop that’s already finished. Continue to look out for Bleugangsta.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Three tips I can share that help impact my music and exposure to other engineers and artist.

#1. Be Confident in your craft (nobody will support you if you’re not feeling your own craft)

#2. Conductive Criticism helps make you better (have to be able to accept the feedback from your audience good/bad)

#3. Network (it’s never to let to learn something new from the next, connect with others, never know who watching)

Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?
Not to sound selfish but ME! Shall I say the fact I start listening to the inner me. Being more considerate to myself and learning to put myself first. To stop blaming others for failed attempts and starting taking the blame for the part I played at holding myself back from success. I stopped looking at doubt and started celebrating the small things/accomplishments. I believed in ME!
