We recently connected with Brandon Bramley and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Brandon with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
I attribute my strong work ethic at Seller Finance Dream to the connection I have with the work our business does. Real estate has always held an interest for me, and the opportunity to focus on creating creatively financed real estate deals has been motivating. The joy of assisting individuals through real estate sales with our innovative owner finance solutions is like no other role that I’ve held.
Engaging in the work no longer feels like a hard task for me; instead, it has evolved into genuine enjoyment. The passion I feel for my daily work has transformed my perception of what is important. I now believe that work ethic is connected to one’s genuine interest in their field, and this certainly holds true for my current venture in the real estate industry.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
Seller Finance Dream was created to provide individuals with the ability to turn the equity in their properties into passive income. My goal is to help people seller finance properties they own in nearly every condition and at almost any level of their real estate investment journey. I’ve been focused on buying properties via seller financing with properties ranging in size from single-family homes or cabins up to larger properties such as multifamily and apartments. We are looking for real estate owners who want to get the most out of the sale of their property and ensure they’re earning the passive income they deserve.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I believe the three most significant qualities that will help a new business owner are quick thinking, creative decision-making, and maintaining a positive attitude. There will be many hoops you need to jump through, and sometimes they arise on short notice, so having the ability to move fast and stay positive is key. The best way to improve these skills is by putting yourself in new situations, stepping outside your comfort zone, and learning to be okay with adapting to those new feelings and situations.
Any advice for folks feeling overwhelmed?
The best advice I received in the past to help me get through highly stressful situations when I’m becoming overwhelmed is to remember one thing. I am not a heart surgeon, and the task that I’m working on (usually) is not a life-or-death situation. If I mess up, no one is going to get hurt, so it’s okay to relax and do the best you can.
