Meet Brian Gaddis and Jesse Johnson

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Brian Gaddis and Jesse Johnson . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Brian Gaddis and Jesse Johnson, thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?
We get our resilience from the situations we have been put in. Both of our backgrounds are in municipal recreation. That being said, there are times when we must trust the process in bringing things to fruition. The resilience we must have in the journey of a project makes completion all the more special. That has paralleled with our purchasing this business in 2017. The resilience has shown through weathering a pandemic. The last thing people were wanting to do was get inside a bubble suit other people have used. As well, it was tested with the rising cost of doing business. Through this, resilience was not weakened but strengthened.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
DFW Metroplex Bubble Ball is comprised of two co-owners – Brian Gaddis and Jesse Johnson. Our mission is to provide people of all ages an avenue to have fun and be safe while doing it. We are not just an inflatable rental business. DFW Bubble Ball provides memorable experiences that last a lifetime. Most often people contact us about an event because someone somewhere has participated in bubble soccer.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Patience Our Background in Recreation
Flexibility

Our biggest advice for folks early in your journey to improve on these is build value in your brand. That being said, a big mistake we made early on is we thought we needed to throw tons of money at marketing, without knowing if there was a need for it. Since 2020 we have spent $0 on marketing and realized we didn’t need it. Our brand did the talking. This is not to set a tone of arrogance or cockiness, but more of confidence. We don’t need to do social media campaigns or Google Ads to reach people who hadn’t heard of us. People were searching for US.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
We are always looking to partner. We love working with social media personalities, on air talent, facilities and mom groups. They can contact us at [email protected]. As well, we have a presence on TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter & can be found that way.
