Meet C.F. Jackson

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful C.F. Jackson. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with C.F. below.

C.F., so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.
Creativity is all around. I allow myself to not only see the possibilities but to feel them.

Many of us as kids had a creative imagination. Think about it. What were the things that helped your imagination back when you were young? For me, there were many things such as movies, commercials, magazines, and advertisements.

Allow these same things to ignite the childlike imagination into grand ideas. There are opportunities everywhere, however many are overlooked because people ignore their inner child.

The key takeaway is to implement at your pass and within your capabilities.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
iDefine TV is more than the name of a company. It is the affirmation for every soul who ever dreamed of being on television. It is the place for the dreamer, visionary, and doer. Is this you?

When iDefine TV launched in October 2013 it was created with the thought of like-minded entrepreneurs. Over the years and still now many entrepreneurs have started businesses that desire mass exposure. How many desire television exposure?

I discovered that the game had changed when I learned Roku made it possible for someone like me to launch my own TV network and reach a global audience was mindblowing.

My first thought is how to help my fellow entrepreneurs to leverage this powerful medium. Granted I was ahead of the game back in 2013 and many missed it. They were so stuck on the technical components as if they would understand. Like I’ve heard Les Brown say, “How is none of your business.”

Since then business coaches, entrepreneurs, authors, and book publishers have partnered with iDefine TV to give them mass exposure using video and distribution on the #1 streaming TV platform. They are recognizing “As Seen On TV” as an added credibility booster now that being an Amazon Bestseller is oversaturated.

Because they agonize and struggle with being a hidden secret in the crowded space of social media, they are frustrated with going at it alone.

We empower them with easy-to-implement strategies and practical tools to use for video and TV.

Bottom line… we offer partners ways to reach television viewers to boost their brand and build credibility while adding another revenue stream.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
It’s been a long journey and I have learned a lot and will continue to learn a lot. There are various skills I have learned and improved on along the way.

I have to admit when I started in 2004 as an entrepreneur I didn’t see myself as a salesperson. Coming from corporate America there was a department for that. I can laugh now about it, but it put me far behind in growing my business. But what I did was find an aspect of me that gave me confidence and created a system around it. At the end of the day, sales are the milk and honey of a successful company.

Entrepreneurship requires self-confidence. God knows I had to build up mine and continue to do so each day. When I started as an author who launched a book publishing company in 2004 my level of confidence wasn’t where it is today. I say it did require confidence to start. It’s important to recognize your growth and to challenge confidence.

We are in a space where video rules. This is something I so enjoy and it amazes me to see the growth of it. I started with a VHS Sony camcorder. I still have it, but now we walk around with a production studio in our hands. I found and still learning the power of video. One of the most important things I share with those I meet is this… start from where you are. A huge production team and expensive equipment aren’t necessary to produce content for social media or TV. I can confirm that because iDefine TV is a network on the number one streaming TV platform in the United States. Roku.

Take time to create a sales process, build your self-confidence, and use the power of video.

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?
The ideal clients of iDefine TV are dreamers, visionaries, and doers. We love connecting with someone with a story they want to share to inspire others. They see iDefine TV as a vehicle to help amplify their voice and story. Then some want to expand their expertise and brand using the power of Roku by way of iDefine TV.

We have worked with so many authors, experts, and entrepreneurs from various parts of the world who have desired to work with us because they understand how media (video and TV) is here and now is the time to embrace it.

They recognize the power of exposure. They understand not everyone will find them on social media and at the same time recognize Roku is the next level of growth for them.

How do they know they are ready for iDefine TV?

It’s an effortless decision they make after a one-on-one strategy session. We have to ask: What are your immediate goals? What are your objectives? What did you envision when you discovered us? There are more as we take this time to hear you and know you.

They come to iDefine TV with a vision or an idea in mind and we help bring it to reality.

We invite anyone to take our brief quiz to see where they fall when it comes to being TV ready. You can find it at www.Quiz.iDefineTV.com.
