Meet Cachia Lewis

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Cachia Lewis a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Cachia, thank you so much for joining us today and appreciate you talking about a sensitive topic. It’s unfortunately relevant to so many in the community as layoffs have been on the rise recently, and so we’d appreciate hearing your story and how you overcame being let go?
I was recently fired from my job as a Social Media Manager at a major multi-billion dollar company. This was based on an illness that I had that was out of my control. After, using all of my sick time while in the process of my FMLA paperwork being completed I was fired unexpectedly.

Now this could have stopped me in my tracks and with fear and depression. However, I decided to have a different perspective than the norm. That is first believing and trusting God when It comes to the promises he has made knowing that this is part of my testimony. I’m overcoming being fired by going full time as a “Kingdom Entrepreneur”. As I am gearing up for my book launch on December 2, 2023 as well as upcoming projects which includes a podcast, I’m confident in my purpose and the footprint that I will leave on my legacy.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

My name is CachiaCherise, I am a Wife, Mother, Author, International Speaker, and Certified Coach. I am originally from Chicago, IL; however, I currently live in Arizona, where the mountains stand and the sun shines down on me.

My mission is to help women speak their truth, overcome their trauma, and walk into their God-given purpose by being authentic. I am a woman who is unafraid to speak my truth, which has helped me to heal from my pain, bitterness, and hurt while helping others in the process.

I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Health Care Management. I’ve held several positions in the pharmacy industry as well as other fields of service like technical support, education, project management, and social media strategist roles. I’m well-versed in hard work and have a relentless passion for caring for children and being a resource by giving my time and energy while fulfilling the needs of people in their healing process.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The areas of knowledge that have been most impactful on my journey are: healing, forgiveness and finding my purpose. The advice that I would give anyone early on this journey is to listen to that inner voice and be open to change. The best way to go about healing is by repenting to God and asking for forgiveness, forgiving yourself as well as others and setting boundaries that can’t be crossed. Therapy is also another form that can be used to assist in the healing process through talking through your issues and utilizing tools to help you overcome obstacles. Once you are healed and have forgiven you can focus on your purpose and the steps to accomplish it.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

I am looking to collaborate with other Kingdom Entrepreneurs who are in alignment with God and confident and bold in going forth with the vision that God has given them. I am looking to collaborate in the areas of creating powerful speaking tours, book collaborations, and youth initiatives across the country.

If you are that person you can connect with me via my email at [email protected]
