Calandria, we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?
Certain situations and hardships in my life has helped me become very resilient .Anything I’ve been through especially bad, has pushed me even harder. I always come out on top because I’m always pushing myself to cope with things in a positive light no matter what it may look like at that very moment .

. I am a full time 6 figure braider that moved from a country town to the city of Atlanta with no plans of ever being my own boss. I have built my brand @thelanway in less then a year . There was hardships, twist and turns that led up to this moment in my life. I look at it as if God had other plans for me . My #1 goal with my brand is to inspire people & show them that if I can do it,anybody can do it. My authenticity and transparency along this journey has caused me to build very quickly and build a very authentic fan base . I’m currently working on a lot of different things on the back side .I’m getting ready to launch my very first ebook titled “ Put Me On Game Lan” Step by Step Guide On Building A Successful Brand . Then there will be another one right after that, followed by getting into the YouTube world trying to create a platform over there as well. Followed by other things I rather not discuss so soon.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Consistency, being professional & building relationships with people that’s on the level you desire to be .
