We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Carson Lee Bradshaw . We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Carson Lee below.
Carson Lee , we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?
I’d have to say that it’s sheer knowledge that if I don’t work, I won’t make it in life. It’s a simple as that. Being an adult is to be resilient .
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I’m an actress, writer and singer songwriter. I also have a remote job that I focus on 9 to 5 each day. It’s exciting because I have a stable career along with being able to focus on my artistic work as well. I am about to wrap post production on a feature film. “Show Me the Real You”. It’s a psychological thriller about a young music student named Sara. That’s who I play in the film. My character suffered a troubled childhood. In the story, Sara is trying her best to find her way. while struggling to keep her sanity.
It’s been great as we were able to shoot nights and weekends without any scheduling conflicts for me. I look forward to the world seeing this film as I was also one of the main writers on the project. It’ll be cool to see how it all comes out.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Number one. Keep the peace.
In any work or personal situation, hiccups can arise causing complications.. keeping your peace is the best course of action when you don’t know what to do. Always let that place of peacefulness lead you through any tricky verbal or nonverbal situations.
Number two. Have Determination and Drive.
When you’re determined and driven to reach your goals no matter how much time it may take.. you’re putting yourself in a great position to eventually succeed.
Number three. Choose love.
Sometimes you have to love yourself first and walk away from situations that you know aren’t right. Other times, you must show love to others who might need a little extra grace that day. You never know what people in your circle or workplace are going through.. But operating from a place of love can solve a lot of problems before they even start! This notion will never leave you empty handed.
How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I’m always looking for fellow dedicated creatives to work with. You can’t get anything done alone. An ever growing team equates to ever growing success in my book. The more the merrier!
