Cassandra, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
I vividly recall the day when I earnestly sought God to reveal my purpose on Earth.
The desire to understand my reason for existence consumed me, propelling me to persistently seek an answer.
At times, I felt adrift, grappling with a sense of emptiness and questioning the very essence of my existence. Then came a morning, after my daughters had a sleepover, when an inexplicable urge nudged me to attend church.
Wrangling all five girls, I found myself seated in the congregation when an invitation to renew my commitment to Christ was extended.
Without hesitation, I stepped forward, standing before the Pastor. As I looked into the pastor’s eyes, his words struck a chord within me: “We are here to guide you in discovering your purpose.” It was a moment of certainty—I knew I was exactly where I needed to be.
From that point on, I became resolute in focusing on my passions and prioritizing personal growth and development. I came across a study highlighting how a lack of purpose shortens lives, and I was determined not to fall into that category.
My entire existence shifted toward intentional living. I coined the hashtag #casslivingonpurpose and crafted content titled “The Living On Purpose Facts,” with aspirations to transform it into a book. This deliberate focus became my anchor, steering me away from distractions that veered me off my life’s purpose.
Despite numerous invitations to join different groups and teams, I always sought guidance through prayer, ensuring alignment with my life’s purpose. Then came a phrase that resonated deeply: “When your passion meets your purpose… that’s your sweet spot.” This sweet spot became my bastion—a place where my life could make a profound difference, not only for myself but also for others.
I dedicated myself to teaching classes, assisting others in uncovering and developing their own sweet spots. There were moments of rejection, like being dismissed from a job by an executive who recognized my potential for greater things beyond that role.
Even someone I looked up to as a mentor once doubted my capacity to be a speaker, teacher, or trainer. However, I didn’t relent in the face of these opinions. Instead, I chose to persist, nurturing my confidence and faith. In doing so, doors unexpectedly swung open, allowing me to speak globally, train numerous individuals, and impart knowledge in various capacities.
Had I succumbed to doubt or accepted ‘no’ as a final verdict, I would have missed operating in my life’s purpose and sweet spot. Building my confidence and fortifying my faith became the guiding forces that led me to where I am today.

Serving as the CEO of Elevation Global Media Group, LLC, fuels my passion daily.
With nine years immersed in the radio industry, it’s a privilege to be entrusted with turning visionary dreams into reality. When our doors opened in 2020, our primary goal was to establish a sanctum for creators—a space where creativity could flourish across all media domains. From brand development and marketing to voiceovers and content creation, our focus spans the entirety of the media landscape.
Our mission reaches beyond merely placing another talk show host or podcaster behind a microphone. We’re committed to fostering unwavering confidence and perseverance in their pursuits.
Excitingly, we’re on the verge of launching the EGMG Training HUB, a dedicated platform to refine the media skills of aspiring individuals, nurturing professional and personal development among various other skill sets.
Anticipate the unveiling of our cutting-edge media studio in 2024, promising a state-of-the-art sanctum designed to redefine creative possibilities.
Through this journey, I’ve come to realize that what was intended to harm me has, in fact, led to a greater purpose. It’s this path that has positioned me to impact and positively influence countless lives. –
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Reflecting on the journey—or better yet, gazing toward the horizon—I’d advise to keep your media skills sharp.
In an ever-evolving landscape, staying current is crucial. Surround yourself with skilled individuals; you need not to possess every skill, but you should know where to find the necessary support.
Equally vital is the company you keep. Ensure those around you are not just competent but also genuinely invested in your success. In a competitive media industry, maintaining focus and staying in your lane are key.
