Meet Cécile Charlotin

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Cécile Charlotin. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Cécile below.

Cécile, so great to be with you and I think a lot of folks are going to benefit from hearing your story and lessons and wisdom. Imposter Syndrome is something that we know how words to describe, but it’s something that has held people back forever and so we’re really interested to hear about your story and how you overcame imposter syndrome.
Imposter syndrome is such a real thing, especially in the world of fashion and lifestyle influencing. For me, it was all about finding my own voice and embracing my unique perspective. I had to remind myself that nobody does “me” better than me. When I started I wanted to just post pictures of my outfits online. Fast forward almost 10 years later I’m negotiating brand deals with major global companies. Sometimes I have to step back and remind myself that the experience I have in this industry is not something that I could obtain in a short time. I worked at this and I’ve seen so many benefits from it.

Surrounding myself with a supportive community of fellow influencers and creatives also played a huge role. We uplift each other, share our struggles, and celebrate our wins together. And most importantly, I learned to silence that inner critic and focus on the positive impact I’m making in my community. It’s all about owning your truth and rocking it with confidence!

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I’m here to inspire you to live your best life, one fabulous outfit at a time! From styling tips to beauty hacks to wellness advice, I’ve got you covered. I’ve worked for the past 10 years on creating a space online thats fashion focused and includes parts of my life. I like to curate content thats relatable while also showing what life is like for a Haitian American mom in her 30’s working as a business owner and content creator.

My favorite part of what I do is the incredible connections I get to make with all of the amazing souls I meet along the way. Every like, comment, and DM fills my heart with so much love and gratitude. Knowing that I’m making a positive impact, even in the smallest way, is what keeps me going.

Ive got some amazing collaborations in the works and I also run a digital marketing agency so I love getting to connect with brands and businesses on the front and back end. I also just started working as a realtor in the Tampa Bay market. I will be featuring more of my favorite real estate finds on my page!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The three most impactful qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that impacted me during this journey are:

Authenticity: Because people can spot a fake from a mile away, so staying true to yourself is key. I think its important to not try to be anyone but YOU. Embrace your quirks, your unique style, your cultural heritage—whatever makes you, YOU! Be genuine in your interactions and engage with your audience authentically.

Resilience: There will be haters in anything you do, there will be setbacks, and there will be moments when you feel like throwing in the towel. But it’s how you bounce back from those moments that truly matters. Dust yourself off, remind yourself of your worth, and keep pushing forward with unwavering determination

Community-building: Building a strong and engaged community is what will sustain you through the highs and lows of this journey. Connect with your followers on a deeper level, foster meaningful relationships with fellow influencers and creatives, and always remember to give back to the community that supports you. If I see someone that I can connect with or related to I see it as an opportunity to make a friend online. Some of my social media friendships are as enriching as real life friendships.

Okay, so before we go, is there anyone you’d like to shoutout for the role they’ve played in helping you develop the essential skills or overcome challenges along the way?

My husband! He’s my biggest cheerleader and my partner in crime on this journey called life. From being an amazing father to being my personal photographer , he’s always there, lifting me up and pushing me to reach for the stars.

He believes in me even when I doubt myself and he encourages me to dream bigger and chase after my goals with passion and tenacity. As cliché as it sounds he really is my best friend and I couldn’t have accomplished most of my life and career goals without him.

My advice to anyone is surround yourself with someone who believes in your dreams as much as you do, because when you have that kind of love and support in your corner, there’s nothing you can’t conquer together!
