Meet Chandra Brooks

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Chandra Brooks. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Chandra below.

Hi Chandra, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
I gre up with limited self-assurance, yet always sensed a unique and special quality within myself. My perspective on the world was distinct; I envisioned greater opportunities for personal growth and the chance to positively influence others. This awareness emerged as early as middle school. Consequently, I carried myself with a distinctive presence, garnering attention and admiration for my unique qualities, even though I didn’t perceive them in the same light.

As I progressed into adulthood and my professional life, I consistently excelled in various roles, becoming the standout performer within organizations. Despite external success, an underlying feeling of unfulfillment persisted. I recognized an untapped potential within me, a sense that I was meant for more significant impact. It was during this time that I decided to seek the guidance of a coach.

Through coaching, I borrowed my coach’s confidence until I could cultivate my own. My coach reminded me of my true self and the positive influence I had on others. By holding up a mirror to my abilities and pushing me to manifest the vision I had always envisioned, my coach became a catalyst for transformative change. The journey was transformative, leading me to the realization that my current level of confidence and self-esteem was a direct result of the coaching process.

Living in alignment with my innate gifts, I witnessed the profound impact I could have on the lives of others. This experience reaffirmed my identity and the unique gifts bestowed upon me by a higher power, motivating me to use these gifts to empower women worldwide.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I’ve also been honored with the esteemed Latina with Vision Award from New York Life, a testament to my profound impact in both the business and community spheres.

In addition to my entrepreneurial journey, I’ve achieved significant success in the business world, launching my Scrub business, Scrublyfe Uniforms, in August 2022. Astoundingly, steering its rapid growth within a single year while adeptly managing my Business Coaching and Consulting enterprise.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I feel that my tenacity and instilled work ethic helped me build the reputation and success I achieved in my professional life. With these already acquired natural abilities I give my success to hiring great coaches and consultants and having the most amazing mentors and advisors. Finding the right mentors, coaches and advisors helped my build a well rounded path to success. We must have our given mentors but investing in paid coaches and consultants have been a game changer for me.

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?
My ideal client is a Woman with an ambition to have financial freedom but also desires to invest back into her community. Someone that has had a yearning desire to change the world and her community but has no idea where to start. They also crave luxury, financial freedom and access to resources that would help other people. They have a voice, gifts and talents to share with the world but they need strategy, confidence and the belief its possible. She’s probably a mother, someone who has put her vision and dreams to the side to raise her family and is now ready to put her resources behind the vision.
