We were lucky to catch up with Chante Bradley recently and have shared our conversation below.
Chante , first a big thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and insights with us today. I’m sure many of our readers will benefit from your wisdom, and one of the areas where we think your insight might be most helpful is related to imposter syndrome. Imposter syndrome is holding so many people back from reaching their true and highest potential and so we’d love to hear about your journey and how you overcame imposter syndrome.
So, I choose this topic because I felted it best fit what I have experienced. And, this could be a topic that you could possible add to your list because a lot successful people do experience this.
I did not truly understand the value of what I offered to world and the impact of the influence I had on others.
Although, I did feel I deserved the success I had achieved, I did not recognize that what was inside of me was greater that I ever imagined. That what I thought was my ceiling was really only the beginning of my greatness.
I did not understand my true value!!
My recent journey of battling Leukemia, a life threatening blood cancer taught me who I really was, that I was actually more than what I thought myself to be. And. I learned the magnitude of the impact I had on other people. I was worth so much more that what I believed myself to be.
They say that before God elevates you, he isolates you and shows you the hearts of those people around you so that you know who to leave behind and who to take with you.
Leukemia was my isolation, and now it’s my time of elevation.
I’m ready!!
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I am the CEO of Acereel, a photography & multi-media and production company. For 23 years, we have provided photography, video & other professional services for individuals and businesses. We love to bring our client’s vision to life. Customer satisfaction is our number one priority.
I am the CEO and Founder of Smooches Woman Magazine. My motto is there is no force greater that a woman determined to rise. Smooches Woman Magazine is more than just a magazine, it’s a movement to empower woman and inspire them to be great!
I am a Financial Literacy Coach, my primary focus is woman; however, I teach people how to understand the power of credit and how to leverage in order to to access their dreams.
I am excited about every aspect of my business because each one aspect elevates people in so many different ways.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Great customer service is the most important thing any business should have. People will forget what you do; but, they will never forget how you made them feel.
Always know how to do every aspect of your business. It’s not that you have to do every aspect; but, you should know how to do it if you need to. Depend on no one more than you depend on yourself!
Marketing is the key!!
After many years of growing our business by “the muscle” as they say. Learning financial literacy changed the trajectory of our business life. Understanding the power of credit, having financial resources gave us access to creating a business that is limitless.
What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?
Learning my value!
