Meet Chante Ramsey

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Chante Ramsey. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Chante, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
Through years of self discovery and healing, I found what I was meant to do. It felt like a mysterious veil was lifted and a wave of relief consumed me.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am the driving force behind the Vysyn Photography team where we bring your visual visions to life through vibrant imagery and creative styling. Also I am the visionary behind Uplift 2 Thrive Consulting, a business development advisory team for BIPOC entrepreneurs to grow their brands and build a resilient community of empowered leaders.

Drawing on over two decades of expertise as an entrepreneur, operations expert and change maker, I’m fulfilling my purpose to help people be their best selves. My mother inspired me and did that for me now in her memory and as part of my legacy I continue to do that for others.

Through my businesses, I guide my clients to recognize their strength, maximize their confidence and uplift their desire to do good in this world by sharing their gifts. While in my care, I put their brand needs and wellness first because most often we don’t do it enough for ourselves. This is my way of giving back and reminding them that their presence and voices matter.

For 2024, I urge everyone – entrepreneurs, artists, community leaders, change makers to take action and be fearless. Don’t be discouraged! I would love to work with folks on their new brand visuals, setting new business elevation strategies, developing team building techniques and more through my brands.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
My ability to be optimistic, free thinking as an artist and to be resilient has definitely helped me along the way. I sought out more. I knew that I was here to do something great! My mother told me that we are not to live in isolation but we are part of a larger community – we help one another, we celebrate each other and cheer for others. That’s what I do in my everyday life and through my business brands.

I urge those struggling to find their purpose journey to look deep within, get uncomfortable with your truths and embrace how far you’ve come.

Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?
The book that has forever changed me was “The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho. While I was on my purpose journey the lead character in this book was on his. As I discovered my strength, weaknesses and heightened my focus, he was doing the same. When I reached the end of the book, my exploration didn’t cease. The book inspired me to keep going on my self discovery and embrace every nuance that I unravel about my past and present with my future in mind. That book was so revealing and such an important part of my healing.
