Meet Charlander Daniels

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Charlander Daniels. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Charlander below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Charlander with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
I would have to give credit for my work ethic to my parents Robert and the late Shirley Daniels! They both instilled in me and my sister Tia, the value of working hard for what you want in life! They taught me to follow my dreams, never give up, and to always keep God first! These three principles have helped me to keep my vision with my business CharSoapBars and be determined to reach my goals. I will forever be thankful to my parents for instilling in me the value of having a great work ethic!

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
My name is Charlander Daniels and I am the owner of CharSoapBars! CharSoapBars is a natural skincare brand and we specialize in 100% natural soaps. We also carry natural deodorants, face serums, and soap saver pouches. All of our products are handmade and free from toxins and chemicals. I started CharSoapBars because I became frustrated with the ingredients that were in commercial brands of soaps. I started doing research and I realized that any product that you place on your body is absorbed in your blood stream within 20 seconds, I decided I would start my own skincare brand to help other people who wanted a healthy natural alternative for their skin. In March 2023 we will have been in business for five years. We have over 1200 online sales, and we are currently a vendor for a beautiful boutique “The Southern Collective” located in Washington, Georgia! We are currently looking for more stores to become a vendor for, especially stores that specialize in natural products.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The three qualities that were most impactful on my journey are passion, patience, and hard work! I would tell anyone that recently started a business or thinking about starting a business to make sure they are passionate about the business they are starting, this will help you put in the hard work for your business to grow! Having patience with your business is also a must. In life sometimes we want things fast and in a hurry. I have realized in business, few people start at the top making millions their first year. Do not be afraid to start small and grow at your own pace, this will give yourself time to make mistakes, learn from your mistakes and become even better! You will be able to look back and appreciate how far you have come! Even the big business Amazon started in Jeff Bezos garage. Remember slow and steady always wins the race!

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I am always looking for new people and new opportunities to collaborate with CharSoapBars! I would love to be a vendor for more stores and boutiques, especially stores that focus on skincare natural products. You can follow me on Instagram,Tic Tok and Facebook @CharSoapBars. You can also email me at [email protected] or [email protected]
