We recently connected with Chenoa Hill and have shared our conversation below.
Chenoa, so great to be with you and I think a lot of folks are going to benefit from hearing your story and lessons and wisdom. Imposter Syndrome is something that we know how words to describe, but it’s something that has held people back forever and so we’re really interested to hear about your story and how you overcame imposter syndrome.
This is an awesome question!
Honestly, I still wrestle with the ‘Imposter Syndrome’.
It’s taken a massive amount of deprogramming of negative self beliefs, discouraging words from others and reframing from negative self talk.
The ‘Imposter Syndrome’ from a positive prospective, can encourage you to challenge the negative belief that you don’t belong by reminding yourself of why you do belong, why you’re worthy and what do you contribute to the world around you.
And that your past “failures” doesn’t completely define you, nor should it be a confinement keeping you from living in your purpose.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
Sound Healing has been an important instrument to my healing journey, and heart transformation these past few years.
During the Genesis of The Pandemic, I invested in buying a complete set of 7 crystal quartz singing bowls.
Each bowl has a specific frequency of sound that resonates with each chakra. For example, the F Note would be the note for the heart chakra.
Fast forward, my passion has led me to study the art and history of Sound Healing.
And I am now a certified Sound Healer!
I full heartedly swear by Sound Healing, because I know firsthand the physical and spiritual benefits of utilizing the art of sound for meditation, clearing and healing the mind, body and spirit.
The Ancients understood the power of sound.
Whether in a sacred ceremony, as a community medicine or as a means of entertainment.
Sound healing has existed for over thousands of years and remains relevant to many cultures.
The instruments that I use during my sessions, aren’t just limited to the singing bowls!
I also incorporate Meditation chimes, Koshi chimes, Native drums, Native American flute, Tibetan bells, and a Tongue drum.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
- GODFIDENCE.
- CHARACTER.
- GRATITUDE.
Your journey is uniquely tailored for you, no one else has to live your life.
Therefore, don’t measure your time, progression, growth and transitions up against another’s journey.
Don’t waste your time trying to appease everyone other than yourself and your Creator.
No human can dictate nor define your worth, nor do they have the power to strip you of your worth.
They did not create you !
Never mind the spectators, not everyone has the confidence to live boldly in their truth.
One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
Community minded individuals are essential to building.
Safe spaces to be your authentic self, be vulnerable, poured into is equally important for community growth, excelling and unity.
I would love to collab with fellow healers, innovators, the fearless, those who are radical lovers of the people and not just out for themselves.
Those are my kind of people.
