Meet Chloe Tang

We recently connected with Chloe Tang and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Chloe with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
I have been working as an in house graphic designer for over two years so my work ethic comes from working with other people in a professional environment and having to meet deadlines.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
My illustrations strive to capture the wonder of the world around us. I’m passionate about creating positive messages and experiences for kids that they can carry with them throughout their lives. I want to inspire kids to be creative and use their imaginations to create something special. I’m excited to be able to share my art with the world!

What I find most exciting about my work is the opportunity to bring stories to life through my illustrations. I love turning mundane activities into a very creative story.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I think time management, strive to success and being patient were and still the tree qualities that impact my journey the most. Being an artist is mostly about playing the “waiting game”, you have to be always ready for any opportunities that throw in your way. I think the only advice I have is to keep sharpening your skills and just have fun, practice makes perfect.

Alright, so before we go we want to ask you to take a moment to reflect and share what you think you would do if you somehow knew you only had a decade of life left?
As someone who gets excited with working in multiple projects, I do get side tracked sometimes what should be the priority. I have been trying to organize my thoughts and work better so I can get most done in tight deadlines.
