We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Christenelle Diroc a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Christenelle, thank you so much for making time for us. We’ve always admired your ability to take risks and so maybe we can kick things off with a discussion around how you developed your ability to take and bear risk?
I Developed My Abilty Of Taking Risk By Loosing/Missing Many Opportunities and Knowing What Could Of Came Out Of Them

My Name Is Christenelle Diroc and I Was Born In Buzau, Romania during The Fall Of Communism. I Was Hand Picked By Saint Mother Teresa, Was Taken Care Of By Her & Her Nuns till I Was Adopted By A Single Mother.

I am A MC & Entrepreneur. I am Also Known for being in a Movie on Hulu called “The Binge”.

I have many songs out with big celebrities including Cassidy, Bizzy Bone, Petey Pablo, Mike Jones, Lil Flip, Ms. Toi, Fabo & The List goes on.

I am Doing Shows And Working on Putting Out An Album On My Birthday

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
My first Would Be, Find GOD. Without God It Wouldn’t Be Right For Your Soul.

My Second Would Be, Learning Who Stays and goes, Whether it’s Friends, Family Or People You Work With.

My Third Would Be, Always Trust Your Gut, Your Head Will Lead You In Many Directions

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
God Has Been The #1 Influence in Making Me Better, I Pray Alot and All The People I Had CD’s with Growing Up He Let Me Have Songs With Later in Life. Prayers Are Always Answered, its Like Serendipity &Synchronosity, It Has to Be The Right Place and Right Time
