We recently connected with Christine Hitt and have shared our conversation below.
Christine, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
I knew from a very young age that I wanted to work in the entertainment business. During my college years, I signed up with different talent agencies throughout Florida so that I could be on set, as an actor, background actor or stand-in. I always knew it was going to take a lot of dedication and hard work to get to where I am today. So, I asked a lot of questions, took a lot of notes and helped out any way I could.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I love being able to wear multiple hats in this industry. Last year I worked as Line Producer / Production Manager on several Disney Cruise Line jobs, one of which was christening the brand new Disney Wish. I have been blessed to work with some amazingly talented individuals as the Talent Logistics Manager for the Disney Christmas Celebration on ABC from 2016 – 2022.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back on my life, one thing is for sure, having a positive attitude and being a team player, has definitely helped get me to where I am today. Even when it’s 95 degrees out and you are having to push your crew and carts a half mile to the next location, keeping a smile on your face and offering a helping hand goes a long way.
Having open communication with your team is also key. Being someone they can come to if they are having issues.
How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I am always looking for go-getters, self-starters with a fire in their belly. I love to see people who are passionate about what they love, it’s infectious.
