We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Chxsen.11. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Chxsen.11 below.

Chxsen.11, we are so deeply grateful to you for opening up about your journey with mental health in the hops that it can help someone who might be going through something similar. Can you talk to us about your mental health journey and how you overcame or persisted despite any issues? For readers, please note this is not medical advice, we are not doctors, you should always consult professionals for advice and that this is merely one person sharing their story and experience.
Tbh, mental health is a never ending battle. But, one method that I’ve found that brings me tranquility is simply trusting the process. Remember, the only way forward is up going through the motions. Don’t Give Up on Urself.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I’m an all around artist or “creative.” That encompasses paper & pencil drawings, graphic design, & fashion. I also enjoy photography & videography. I work with different mediums of art but they all come together to build a new form factor. My ETSY shop ‘CODEDArchives’ is now open with a few abstract paintings available! where I will have a few of my drawings up for purchase.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Resilience, Patience, and Valor. For those that are just starting out in there journey, the most important thing is to always believe in yourself! Have faith & keep your head up when things get rough!. Also, stay authentic, block the outside noise, & embrace the things that make you, U.

What would you advise – going all in on your strengths or investing on areas where you aren’t as strong to be more well-rounded?
I think it’s better to be well-rounded because after you’ve learned a new skill, it trickles into other forms of creative expression. But, I believe it’s better to find what you excel at just so that you have a baseline to gauge yourself at. Experimenting with what makes you uncomfortable is how you grow!
