We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Clifford Blanquicet Jr a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Clifford, thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?
I grew up in section 8 housing, drug filled homes and an abusive environment and instead of giving in to those obviously bad things, I decided to become the best me I could be. And I truly believe I have and I won the battle that so many fall to every day.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I am a blessed husband and a blessed father of 5 wonderful kids, I grind for them and my passion for making a difference in peoples lives and winning.

I am a tech founder, commercial real estate firm owner and real estate investor. I grind every day to hit my goals and make the world a better place.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Just not taking no for an answer when you know you need something to get to your goals, never quiting, never settling until you have reached your goals and push for a greater good-for me it’s God, wife, children, people and winning.
