Meet Creature Hii

We were lucky to catch up with Creature Hii recently and have shared our conversation below.

Creature , thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?
I get my resilience from my Father. I was heavy set growing up and that bothered him. He didn’t care about my appearance he cared about me losing experiences that other kids have. So i was forced to do every sport and even marathons with him. Eventually no matter what size i was , i was able to do any sport i was thrown in. That definitely gave me the strength to say i can do anything i really want to do, and bounce back fast.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I am a multi genre music producer , and content creator on YouTube. At this time I’m currently working on my album and doing a lot of traveling to complete it. I pull from every experience, every Hii that i have. Raw animal noises , trees , city street traffic, even random drum circle meetups i can find. Hii Botanicals is my YouTube channels where i make 8 hours of sleep music and live sound healing sessions. That’s currently my main focus with content creating. Bond more with nature and creating on spot.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Being a natural entrepreneur/creative , resilience , and self love has been the most impactful qualities of my journey. These qualities have truly helped me bounce back many times with ease. If i could give a beginner advice i would tell them that the industry will ALWAYS be there. Your only competition is with yourself and your craft.

What do you do when you feel overwhelmed? Any advice or strategies?
When i feel overwhelmed i step out into. Nature. Being in the woods reminds me to slow down and to let things naturally take its course. I can’t control everything and sometimes it’s hard for me to remember that by myself.
