We recently connected with CrysE B. and have shared our conversation below.
CrysE, thank you so much for taking the time to share your lessons learned with us and we’re sure your wisdom will help many. So, one question that comes up often and that we’re hoping you can shed some light on is keeping creativity alive over long stretches – how do you keep your creativity alive?
I keep my creativity alive by continuing to learn and digest content that keeps me inspired. Also, ensuring I’m passionate about the things I do so that nothing feels like a chore.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I’m Crystall but, you can call me Cryse B. (pronounced Crissy-Bee) I’m the creative director and owner of A Los Angeles-based lifestyle & creative concierge. Cryse B. Lifestyle & Creative Concierge is a multi-dimensional brand that serves women on their journey to becoming a Boss. I collaborate with women creatives, artists, and entrepreneurs to enhance their image through beauty, style, lifestyle consulting, and creative direction services to elevate their brands.
What is most exciting about what I do is the relationships I make with my clients. It’s rewarding to be able to do what I love while I get to work with some incredible women.
I also launched Creatives Branded. Creatives Branded is a Branding & Digital Marketing Agency where I partner with creatives, and entrepreneurs to level up their businesses. We enhance your business through branding, graphic design, digital marketing, social media, content creation, product photography and styled branded photoshoots.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in my journey are the ability to adapt to change, to never take things personally, and to always over-deliver and underpromise.
The advice I would share with those who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these areas are to continue to learn, remember that everything prepares you for the next level of opportunity, and to always follow through or don’t do it.
Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I would love to partner and collaborate with other creatives, and entrepreneurs who are interested in their growing and elevating their personal or process brand.
