Meet Daisey Brown

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Daisey Brown. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Daisey below.

Hi Daisey, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
I found my purpose through my personal health and life struggles. When I came off of birth control four years ago I started to experience an array of symptoms such as acne, weight gain, hair loss, low libido, amenorrhea, depression, and more. I felt miserable and went to doctor after doctor looking for relief but was given an array of different medications for my symptoms and nothing worked. Through this experience I started researching and studying nutrition and holistic health and found my passion. I now have the privilege of working with women along their journey to health.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
Hi, I’m Daisey! I am a Hormone Health Coach, Future Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, and founder of sage. wellness + co. I take a bio-individual, food first approach to healing. I work with clients one-on-one and host wellness workshops to educate and empower women of all ages on their hormone health journey. I specialize in cycle syncing, preconception, prenatal, and postpartum nutrition, PCOS, estrogen dominance, PMS, amenorrhea, infertility, and post birth control syndrome. If you or a woman in your life is struggling with their hormones, wanting to learn how to cycle sync, or looking to learn how to nourish their body for a healthy pregnancy and postpartum I would be honored to work with you!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I believe my personal health struggles were integral to my health coaching business and have given me the knowledge and empathy to connect with my clients who struggle with similar health issues as I did. My biggest piece of advice to anyone struggling with a hormone imbalance would be to go back to the basics. Take account of what you’re eating, how much sleep you’re getting, if you’re hydrated, and how often you’re moving your body. Secondly, I encourage you to find a practitioner who will spend the time to get to know your health history and develop a bio-individual plan for your healing.

How would you describe your ideal client?
My ideal client is looking to live in alignment with her cycle, wants to learn how to nourish her body, and is open to a holistic approach to health. I work with women of all ages and stages of life such as teaching preteens about cycle syncing and their period, supporting women through preconception and pregnancy, guiding new moms through postpartum, working with women to heal their hormone imbalance, and helping women transition through menopause.
