Meet Dáisha Evans

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Dáisha Evans . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Dáisha , so good to have you with us today. We’ve got so much planned, so let’s jump right into it. We live in such a diverse world, and in many ways the world is getting better and more understanding but it’s far from perfect. There are so many times where folks find themselves in rooms or situations where they are the only ones that look like them – that might mean being the only woman of color in the room or the only person who grew up in a certain environment etc. Can you talk to us about how you’ve managed to thrive even in situations where you were the only one in the room?
I feel like the best thing I could ever be is myself. Knowing that I possess attributes and talents that set me apart from anyone else, is what keeps me motivated. Of course seeing others that look like me, provides me with inspiration but I definitely don’t mind being the one to hold the torch.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I’m currently curating an affordable fashion playlist of videos on social media that everyone will have access to. I would love to have some clothing projects and even some modeling projects hit the fan.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I would say my passion for what I do, my drive to want to see myself on top, & seeing my children be proud of me and supportive of my dreams melts my heart.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I would love to start pushing out some amazing collabs. Whether it be companies, brands, or other creatives. I want to be around like- minded individuals who share my passion for change and enlightenment. People who value creativity the way I do.
