Daniknows, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
I found my purpose through happiness, the moment I felt like working didn’t feel like something i had to do but instead it was something I get to do everyday.. That was my aha moment.

Hello! I’m Dani, a creative and multidimensional soul, not your typical makeup artist. I believe in the power of art and the positive energies that flow through my hands.

For me, makeup is not just a job; it’s an artistic expression that allows me to connect with the world in a unique and special way. Since I was a creative kid, I knew that art would be my path in life, and makeup became the palette that allows me to paint with colors and shapes on the human canvas.

Each brushstroke I make is an opportunity to convey emotions, enhance the innate beauty of each person, and share my artistic vision with the world. I firmly believe that makeup goes beyond the superficial; it’s a powerful tool to empower people and allow them to express their true selves.

Every client who trusts me to enhance their beauty has a story of their own. Through my art, I can help them feel more confident, embrace their uniqueness, and radiate self-assurance. It’s a gift to be a part of that transformation and witness how my hands can influence how they look and feel.

My intuition and passion guide me in every project I undertake. I love experimenting with new styles, colors, and techniques because I know that creativity knows no bounds. Every day, I discover more about myself and the incredible ability I have to make a difference in people’s lives through makeup.

This journey is not just about makeup; it’s about the power of connecting with people and leaving a positive mark on their hearts. It’s about inspiring and being inspired by each face I beautify and each story I share.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Creativity: Being a creative soul has been the driving force behind my journey as a makeup artist. Embracing my creativity allowed me to think outside the box, experiment with new styles, and create unique and captivating makeup looks. My advice to those early in their journey is to nurture their creativity by exploring different art forms, trying new techniques, and seeking inspiration from various sources. Don’t be afraid to take risks and let your imagination run wild; it’s in those moments that you’ll discover your true artistic voice.

Connection and Empathy, connecting with people and understanding their unique stories has been a profound aspect of my journey. As a makeup artist, I’ve had the privilege of making a positive impact on my clients’ lives by enhancing their confidence and self-expression. If you’re starting out you should develop strong interpersonal skills and cultivate empathy. Listen to your clients’ needs, make them feel valued, and create a safe and comfortable space for them to express themselves. Your ability to connect and empathize will set you apart and lead to meaningful and lasting relationships with your clients.
