Meet Dante Alba

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Dante Alba a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Dante, thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with us today. We’re excited to dive into your story and your work, but first let’s start with a broader topic that might be stopping many of our readers from pursuing their dreams – haters, nay-sayers, etc. How have you managed to persist despite haters and nay-sayers that inevitably follow folks who are doing something unique, special or off the beaten path?
I persist by hyping myself up and reminding me that I’m stronger than any stick and stones thrown at me.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I’m currently taking new acting seminars and courses. I recently sign with a new Modeling Agency as a Talent in the comercial division. I’m also in the pursuit of getting represented by new management.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I believe one quality is being prepared when opportunity comes knocking at your door. The second quality is talent which can be developed by constant practice. The last quality is being yourself, that’s your power.

Thus my advise would be talent can be develop by combining your carisma with preparation.

Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?
The booked that has played the most important role in my development is “The Secret”.

The most valuable nugget of wisdom is “You become what you think the most”.
