Meet Diana Corpus

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Diana Corpus a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Diana, thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.
Life experiences is where I earned my optimism. Childhood trauma, romantic breakups, loss of friendships, school, there are numerous topics to cover, but I went to therapy for almost a year. I became grounded and learned about self-love and slowly I blossomed into having a positive mindset. Once I changed my negative mindset into a positive one, my life completely changed for the better.

I hear the birds singing in the morning while the rays of the sunrise kiss my skin. It’s a ritual and spiritual for me. I speak the language of the universal and I’m in tune with divine energy. The world is so beautiful.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
At the moment, I’m focused on building and expanding my portfolio. My goal is to get signed to an agency that represents wardrobe stylists. I would also like to start my own cafe one day. I currently sell home made cakes.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I had determination, passion and drive. These three qualities were vital to growth and helped me to accomplish my goals. Without them, I would not be where I am today. I trusted my journey and I figured it out along the way. I kept faith alive and continued till I got a yes.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
I read The Secret, a book about the power of manifestation. The book emphasized that our thoughts have power and they travel through the universe. If we have negative thoughts, we will experience negativity, but if we think positive, we will experience positivity. There as a point in my life where I as depressed, I now understand and full believe in the power of manifestation.
