Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Donielle Todman. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Donielle, thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?
My resilience comes from within. From childhood, I was surrounded by people of strength that helped me embrace that inner side of me starting with my parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, you catch my drift. They didn’t have time for excuses, more like they didn’t want to hear any excuses. In life, we tend to procrastinate and put things that we should be working on off for another time for whatever reason may be; then focus on problems that we have no control over. But I am here to tell you shift your mindset, become a solutionist, tap in to becoming a problem-solver because that will be the game changer on how successful you or your business becomes.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
My name is Donielle Todman, Director of Infinite DOT Testing Center. We specialize in drug testing for pre-employment screening, randoms, post accidents, follow-up, reasonable suspicion, return to duty and more. A few of the other services provided are DNA testing (paternity (includes non-invasive), infidelity, pet sensitivity, food allergies, etc), level II fingerprinting/background checks, women’s/men’s health screenings and blood draws.
The exciting part about the what we do is the connections/relationships we build with the people we interact with on a daily basis whether it’s via phone, email or in-person. Anyone that visits our location feels welcomed because they are not just a number. We talk, laugh and sometimes have those coming to Jesus conversations (metaphor). Many have stated that, they were glad they chose my location because of the personable experience they encountered coming there. Their feedbacks are very heart-warming because what may be simple response to you may make a great impact on someone else.
.As far as new services, holistic healing (coming soon). This service is for those that are interested in alternate options for healing their bodies. We are also looking into expanding within Florida and other states.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I enjoy learning, so I’m always looking for ways to improve and enhance my skillset. I’m big on, we can learn from everyone and everything, no matter who or what, there’s always a lesson. So, I utilize my active listening skills when communicating with others.
My advice to you, the person reading this, don’t give up on yourself, invest in you, always place yourself in the state of learning even if you are knowledgeable because we don’t know everything. Have a skill that need to be sharpened, take a class, do whatever it takes but don’t give up.
End goal is to become as marketable as possible, so the money is chasing you NOT you chasing it.
