We were lucky to catch up with D’Sean Ross recently and have shared our conversation below.
D’Sean, so glad you were able to set aside some time for us today. We’ve always admired not just your journey and success, but also the seemingly high levels of self-discipline that you seem to have mastered and so maybe we can start by chatting about how you developed it or where it comes from?
My father, he was a marine in the way he instill discipline, just carried over to my adult life and because I was a athlete and you have to have a level of discipline to get to the collegiate level

My name is D’Sean Ross I am a comedian I love traveling around the country making people laugh. I have been overseas to entertain our troops. I’ve been to Iraq, Kuwait, Okinawa, and Tokyo right now I am part of two podcast. One is called the scary, funny show and the other is roast the host, you can find them both on YouTube and any other podcast platforms. What makes me unique is I am able to turn my pain into laughter and all my life situation’s into stories that people enjoy to forget about their problems 30 minutes at a time.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Three things that I’m really proud of that. I have done in my career being able to go overseas to entertain the troops and save someone’s life. I’ve gotten to work with a lot of people that I looked up to before I got into Comedy such as loni love, DL, Hugly, and Kevin hart And the third thing is making a living doing what I love
Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?
Loni love has been the most influential because she put me in front of an audience that made me grow as a comedian and stop using certain words as a crutch
