Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Eileen Bild. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Eileen, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
There is a difference between confidence and self-esteem. Confidence is a state of mind or a way of being with a foundation of inner peace and having unbridled certainty, strong assurity, courage to take risks and clarity in decision making. Self-esteem is how we value and perceive ourselves based on our internal belief system.
I have always been a “yes” person and expect the best from others. This caused me to be steam rolled at times by others who attempted to instill their idea of who I should be and their own beliefs about themselves and life. As I matured in adulthood and after I went through a Masters program for Transpersonal Psychology, the realization that my level of confidence was actually not as great as it could be and my self-esteem was somewhat conditioned by external factors, I knew I needed to make some changes and evolve who I was.
Going on a journey of a deep dive into answering the questions Who Am I?, What Are My Boundaries?, Do I Speak My Truths?, What Is My Unique Gift(s)? How Do I Be In the World, But Not Of It?, What Do I Need to Strengthen to Honor My Authentic Self?, and What Does It Mean for Me to Have Confidence?
This became a lifelong quest to understand my connection to my “self” and my interactions with the “outer” world. I began to do “The Work.” This requires development in the Art of Communication, the Art of Listening, awareness of the principles of the universe, knowing my triggers and transforming them, understanding the difference between reactive vs. responsive and a daily practice to be at peace.
I began a regular routine of meditation, clearing out negative thinking and replacing them with positive thoughts, shifting perspectives to understand others so I can be understood, boundary setting and strengthening – teaching others how to treat me and solidifying the path I want to walk for my life to be joyful, filled with happiness and serenity.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I also work with aspiring authors on Life & Legacies Book Projects with Beauty & The Beast Publishing, and have other ongoing book projects with independent publishers.
As part of my desire to help women be strong leaders, I am conducting research for Women in Business – Personal Assets with a questionnaire. An ongoing quest to bring the best version of oneself to the Global community, I am gathering information and insights from women and men all over the world. I hope others will join me in sharing our courage, perseverance, strength and confidence to be in the forefront of innovation, creativity and taking the world through the next step of transformation and growth.
In personal and business there is a breakdown for a breakthrough. I am Founder of The Core Thinking Blueprint Method and am a Breakthrough S.P.A.R.K. Coach. It is important for me to guide others to take the next step, to spark them to new levels and empower them to feel confident, have more courage and be clear on what they want in life.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Three qualities and/or skills I believe have been most impactful in my journey is proactive-listening, understanding why people do and say things, and communication.
A key for success in moving forward in life is to believe in oneself. Listening to the inner voice and recognizing when it is you talking or if it is another person, will empower you to make healthy decisions. Having a positive outlook with discernment of the negativity in the world helps to overcome doubts, fear, anxiety and uncertainty. Communicating what you really want to say or how you are feeling is important for you to know the other person understands you, values you and what you bring to the experience, and hears you as you want them to.
Building resilience to the pull of others to take you in a direction you may not want to go helps to develop the boundaries needed to be strong in your own truths. No one can take away who you are authentically. They can try to tear you down, make you doubt yourself, create chaos and confusion; but when you are clear about your path in life, these people become less of an influence and they are replaced with those who will support you.
Do you think it’s better to go all in on our strengths or to try to be more well-rounded by investing effort on improving areas you aren’t as strong in?
I believe in being more well rounded with balance of mind/body/spirit. Life will test us so we can learn the lessons that will help us grow, expand and transform. I am always open to becoming a better version of myself and embrace the gratitude attitude.
When Ordinary to Extraordinary Life began in 2014, we had good intentions to be of value to the local music community. Fortunately, we were welcomed with open arms; however, there were some people who tried to prevent us from having success. This taught me to enhance my strengths in being the best I can be to support musicians, friends and others with the skills that has a positive impact on their lives. I knew any weaknesses would be an open door for the potential to be attacked and wrongfully accused of things that were not true.
We moved through the stage of gaining trust and ultimately being well respected. Having a balance in life and work, and mind/body/spirit enables me to ride the storms; but mostly live life life on my terms.
