Meet Elizabeth Lynn Rohr

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Elizabeth Lynn Rohr. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Elizabeth Lynn, so great to have you on the platform. There’s so much we want to ask you, but let’s start with the topic of self-care. Do you do anything for self-care and if so, do you think it’s had a meaningful impact on your effectiveness?
I enjoy a special connection with animals-the unconditional love of dogs and the invitation of horses and donkeys to come into integrity with how I really feel and how I show up has served me well my whole life. Part of my self-care has always been being around animals. I have had pets who have given me love- I have taken care of myself financially.by taking care of people’s homes and pets and I have grown my relationship with my power by taking riding lessons with 17 hand horses (the big ones).
So not only do I benefit and get reminded I am worthy of love by hanging out with animals-I am taken care of financially in times when new projects and offers are getting off the ground and pushing past my comfort zone by getting on top of a huge horse and trotting around the pasture. I have learned how to care for chickens; take care of baby goats; feed sheep-as I take on new responsibilities with animals it grows my capacity to do so with humans as well.
I am a Family/Systemic Constellation Facilitator and I now practice that art with the assistance of animals-it is quite a gift for me, the animals and the people I work with.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I am someone who always wants to be “doing” more than one thing-“doing” the same thing day after day has never worked for me.

So currently I am a professional house sitter and a Family/Systemic Constellation Facilitator. I am incorporating animals into my Constellation work in group settings as well as one on one constellations-horses, peacocks, chickens, goats and donkeys support the work humans are doing.

And each house I am in and care for the animals, they join in in any online constellations I facilitate or participate in-the animals and people again both benefit.

I have been growing my facilitation skills in the last year and am focused on creating an experience that lands more potently in all who participate – one offer has grown from this desire. I am collaborating with another facilitator, Jadina Lilien in a 3 month online constellation group beginning in March. The intention is to have the same group of people meet monthly for 3 months and support each other in constellation work-as the trust in the group deepens, so does the constellation experience. And what happens phenomenologically is that each piece of work builds the next piece of work.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I believe the skill of letting go has impacted my journey and helped me become a better facilitator-the ability to facilitate with no outcome in mind allows for anything to appear and happen which benefits the clients. I learned the gift of letting go the hard way-by having things, people leave my life suddenly and experiencing all the feelings that come with that. I don’t recommend that road-but I could recommend one way to learn how to let go is to continue to push the boundary of what you know again and again-try it on even if it is not perfect. Evaluate the outcome and then let it go or continue.

One of my other gifts is to fly high like an eagle-see the bigger picture. When I do that, I see the gift in everything, not just the “good” stuff. I I also don’t get caught up in the mental juggling of everyday life that one can get caught up in. I developed this gift through 25 years of plant medicine work-I no longer do plant medicine work but one way anyone can develop this gift is to find someone/something that has a high vibe and hang out…. when that happens something new happens.

Listening is a superpower of mine too which assists in my work-I remember the days where I was forming what I wanted to say while listening to another person-that is not listening! So, using my mental muscle of saying no to that way of being, I developed the gift of listening. I also met a person who initiated my internal feeling of “home”. Again, hanging out with someone/something that has a high vibe will help.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
I am the queen of desiring collaboration/partnership-it probably originates from my astrology/human design. I can only respond and my astrology chart is one that is half empty on one side-I find completion when collaborating with another.

And I hold a new way of partnering/collaborating-ego in check-showing up authentically-being willing to not know as we begin-honoring your own gifts as well as the other. Something happens when two people come together in this way-two people come together and something new gets created-it is the new way.
