Essence , so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
My confidence……like Rome wasn’t built in a day. As a young girl and even now as an adult there are times where I struggle to feel confident.
Over the years I’ve learned first to always believe in MYSELF. My mom used to tell me, that it didn’t matter what I wanted to do, or who I wanted to be, as long as I aimed to be the absolute best at what I chose to do. Keeping that in mind I started working early on, working my way up the corporate ladder. Exceeding expectations at a rapid competitive level drove my confidence .
This lead me to eventually starting my own business .
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I started my journey as an entrepreneur at 16! Juggling school, a small business and working made things quite difficult. With the support of my friends and family, over the years I’ve been able to grow multiple brands and I wouldn’t trade this learning experience for the world!
I am the President & Founder of E4Essentials Skincare, an all natural skincare brand. Also E4E’swimco , swimsuit and float company.
E4ESSENTIALSSKINCARE being on our second year in business, I’m overly excited to announce that we’ll be expanding for 2024! With new products and sister company on the way, we’re taking an even deeper dive into the beauty industry. Be sure to subscribe to our pages for updates!!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back on my journey there were a few skills that I’d find really helpful for anyone, rather your entrepreneur like myself or studying in school to become a doctor.
Time management would be most important for me. Utilizing my time wisely increases that confidence, reduces stress and also broadens my opportunities.
Networking with like minded individuals have also increased opportunities for me. Developing trusted relationships with fellow entrepreneurs, actors and investors, keep me on my toes with fresh ideas. I also love being able to have solid connections with people from different industries. I love to learn !
A piece of advice that I would give someone who is early on in their journey is even in the toughest times to NEVER GIVE UP BECAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW TODAY MIGHT BE THE DAY YOU WIN !
