Hi F.R., really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
Find my purpose. Interesting. I’ve never had anyone ask me this before. And I never thought I found my purpose until now. I become a horror crime/fiction writer to bring the readers a different kind of story. Stories with amazing, strong women as lead characters, taking back what the world has so cruelly taken from us, time and time again. Our dignity, our womanhood, our voice. My journey began in 2020, the year the world stood still. I listened to many podcasts, mostly true crime, hearing how the system has failed us and our children and then forced us to seal our lips and turn the other cheek. Thousands of people, missing. Others were found and unable to be identified. Their bodies are defiled and/or mutilated. And their abductor/killer running free. So I decided to write my first novel, with a strong female lead. A morally grey character that overly corrects the system’s failure to protect in her own unique, malevolent design. I found my purpose, giving the readers an amazing story we all wish would come to life, then jolt them at the end with crucial, information about the real crisis our country hides away in the dark. Missing and Unidentified People. Giving the voiceless a voice.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I am a horror/crime-fiction writer & producer. Author Of The Effects Of Her Nerium, On The Other Side, Lies The Truth, and my soon-to-be-published third novel, Rabid. I am also the founder of F.R. Diaz Dark Creations LLC, a production company. I am currently working with Director & Actor Jean Nasser, nominated for NBC Emerging Director Program 2018. With 8 shorts & 12 awards, and his production company, Starving Words, with SFX make-up artist & editor Jude C.C. We are bringing THE EFFECTS TO HER NERIUM to life, but only with everyone’s help, will this be possible. Our crowdfunding campaign on IndieGoGo will start soon for any donations.

We are going to create a film like no other, exposing the true horrors that surround us, yet giving you the satisfaction, you wish would happen in the real world. Help our team bring you pure psychological rawness at its best or shall we say worse. And this film is not just another slasher with no meaning, only for pure entertainment. The Effects of Her Nerium has a message. One we want to scream aloud and pry people’s minds open to the reality that lives around us.

-SAVE.ORG: Suicide Awareness Prevention.
And the ongoing crisis of Missing and Unidentified people around the world, while simultaneously bringing the screams and the gore, we who love horror, crave!

We are attempting to reach our film goal of $50,000 with a stretch goal of $100,000 to create an amazing film for everyone to enjoy and share with their friends and family.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Three skills/qualities that helped me along this crazy journey we call life. Being bilingual has been one of my superpowers and I’d say something every person should learn, a second language. The world is vast, with many different cultures and ways of life. And we should all learn from each other. We grow that way. I’d say explore the world as much as you can, even from the comfort of your own home. explore the internet, find new people to learn from, and open your mind to NOT understanding others but simply accepting them. I believe my in live and let live. The best quality about me is, my comprehension of life, how we are all on our own journey with our own goals in mind, dragging our failures and showcasing our wins for instant gratification, when at the end of the day we are all just mammals, Animals on this earth like any other, with feelings and emotions. Just trying to survive the chaos of the world mankind has created. My advice to fellow start-up entrepreneurs is don’t give up. Don’t stop pushing to make your dreams come true. Anyone can do anything. No one is more special than the other. You are the captain of your ship, no one else. If someone can’t see your vision come to life, it’s only because God did not give them the idea, God gave it to you.
