Meet Fabrienne Trebizo

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Fabrienne Trebizo. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Fabrienne below.

Fabrienne, so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.
I have always been a writer since elementary school. I wrote lots and lots of poetry so I had to write “Love Chronicles”  a poetry book of the emotions of love.

Honestly, I didn’t anticipate so much positive feedback from all over United States regarding my writing in any form as it is now. How it helped them understand addiction or how to accept grief and how it helped them find a way to channel that without having a meltdown. There’s so much healing going on around me. You don’t realize it until you realize it is an understatement. It was then I understood what my purpose was. Just keep writing.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I have been shown a vision, a premonition, a day dream, a dream however you want to describe the epiphany. I’m the gatekeeper with words I can empathize and camouflage myself into the mirrored being in real time right in front of me that’s what makes me a rare breed.

Currently I have released an official track with CGMG “Uneven Terrain” ft.Yummy Bingham. It has hit 116,000 streams as of yet.. I am so proud of how we created the track. Who we were blessed to have feature on it. The tears that were shedded while writing, reciting and recording. I still struggle with getting the words out without feeling cathartic. Then with the positive most vulnerable feedback from strangers I have gotten, it is very humbling. I’m honored to be seen as some one who people from all over the States can feel me as a friend and as an inspiration to get through another day. No money can buy or fix issues good and bad. The realization of life’s highs and lows and to be a part of peoples decision makings even at life’s crucial pivoting  moments. Theres no feeling like it.

For now and for tomorrow I’m going to continue to write. Write for you, for them, and for me. I do have to sing soon and not just write and recite as just a spoken words artist I have to actually be singing. Funny as much of media I have created im still so shy.. Theres so much more that’s coming into play but I can’t release the information today. So please keep up with our journey and see where it leads us as a whole.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I fell down the rabbits hole and had a life changing situation happen around March of 2011. I experienced a test of morality and very valuable life lessons and it was then i knew i needed to sacrifice myself out of faith and break the cycle of what was to come. In this era of my life there was a time I got on one knee and offered my soul to the devil and believe me when i say it will come knocking on your door. I had to make a choice when my time came and when i did I submitted to a higher being my life fell apart and i had to start over from scratch but how was i suppose to bring in light with my dark for others to understand? I knew the journey would have lots of inner turmoil. My inner being was starting to understand the experience was necessary and I needed to help bring hope and healing for others on the same wave length as i was on. My sacrifices were great and created so much pain I figured I would take the hit for all of us.

Stay focused on God and everything else is a bonus and will fall into place

Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?

As the days and months past by and people are hearing about me how I’m an open book about my life and maybe i could give good advice to help their friends and family. Then when people actually get a copy of my book i get private messages asking for poetry, prayers, chants or affirmations how ever you describe intimate conversations within ourselves. Every time always feels like the first time and that is the reward. No money can buy me and my community that i have built no one can take it from me and that is worth more than diamonds. A needle in the haystack.
