Meet Nayendi Santos

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Nayendi Santos a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Nayendi, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
After experiencing numerous setbacks and struggling with feelings of inadequacy and hopelessness due to societal stereotypes, I gradually gained confidence. However, one day, I reached a turning point and sought support from like-minded women and business coaches to build up my self-esteem four years ago.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
A Certified Financial Advisor, Motivational Speaker, and Business Coach, I specialize in assisting families with their financial needs, including business funding, credit building, rent reporting, investment opportunities, and notary and real estate services. What sets me apart is my unwavering commitment to seeing people succeed at all times. Stay tuned for additional services in 2024, tailored to meet the individual needs of each client.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I have had several impactful experiences that have transformed my life and empowered me to help hundreds of people achieve the same. Three key experiences stand out:

First, the lesson of perseverance and commitment. I refused to give up and stayed committed despite hardships.

Second, the importance of leadership and continuous learning. I realized that growth required me to lead and remain open to daily learning and growth.

Finally, as a proud woman of color who speaks Spanish and serves as a young entrepreneur in the Garifuna community, I have been able to impact lives across all 50 states. Despite the challenges, I continue to push forward and create meaningful change, four years into my journey.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
Books that Been beneficial to me:

Robert T Kiyosaki’s (Rich Dad, Poor Dad)

Robert T Kiyosaki’s (The Business of the Twenty-First Century)

T Hary Eker’s (Secret of the Millionaire Mind )

James Clear’s (Atomic Habits)
