Hi Grande , thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
When it come to my work ethic in life I definitely get it from my mama , I legit watched her work 2 sometimes 3 jobs to make sure the house was straight. She would work sun up to sun down & still come & try to cook for us or if she was too tired she would get up & cook before work so that definitely gave me motivation to always push no matter what. My work ethic in the studio hands down come from Gucci mane , ain’t nobody ever outwork gucci that mane got over 100 projects & counting ! I feel like dude work ethic is unmatched , that’s why I record so much.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am Grande Zee I’m co-ceo & only artist on shut up & rap entertainment which was started in 2020. I record, mix & master all my music which means I own my masters (slight flex) & I create content , I went viral on tiktok & Twitter & Facebook via reels. Shut up & rap is catchy & eventually it will branch off into other avenues as well I want it to become a household name like bleach. I think my genuine personality & warm vibes is what win people over , I believe first impressions are everything & I want to leave a good mark on everybody I meet on my journey. I got new music on the way I’m dropping a single with my boy Gee Pasto soon so be on the lookout for that most definitely
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Dedication, Resiliency & Faith. You first & foremost gotta keep God first in everything you do “faith of a mustard seed”. Stay dedicated even when the odds are stacked against you remember your end goal of you mission & to be resilient is to never give up you gotta always keep going no matter what. The road will get hard you will be face with obstacles that may seem impossible but you gotta take your lick & keep on ticking. Take every piece of advice possible & learn not only from your mistakes but the people around you & the people you look up to & never sell yourself short.
Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
I can’t necessarily pin point one person cause I don’t want to overshadow anyone but anybody that has ever supported me , lifted me up when I was down or even gave me any piece of advice or motivation along my journey I’m grateful for. Whether they know it or not they play a key part in this all cause if it wasn’t for them I probably would have been gave up , to the ones who genuinely support me & genuinely want to see me win I thank you wholeheartedly.
