MEet J Franco

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful J Franco a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

J, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
I got my work ethic from my grandfather the first J FRANCO. He was a family man who was hard working and believed that your word was worth gold. He was a man of high integrity who championed for all his daughters to get an education. He believed that if any of his daughters got divorced or a man left them that they could hold their own and provide for themselves because they were all educated women.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
As a digital marketing strategist, my passion lies in empowering female entrepreneurs to build and market profitable online businesses. My own journey, marked by the longing for a business confidant amidst a culture that often overlooks entrepreneurial pursuits, especially for Latinas, fuels my commitment to be that supportive figure for others. Understanding the unique challenges faced by women in business, I offer tailored services and products for entrepreneurs at every stage. From insightful courses and memberships for newcomers to personalized coaching and done-for-you services for the more established, my goal is to be the guiding light, helping women navigate and excel in their entrepreneurial journey.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Reflecting on my journey, three pivotal areas stand out. First, the art of systemizing for scalability, turning chaos into order and growth. Second, embracing the narrative of numbers; they’re not just figures but stories charting our path from dreams to tangible success. Finally, the pursuit of knowledge in every business facet, a quest that turns us into informed leaders, savvy outsourcers, and inspiring team captains. For those starting out, dive into these realms with curiosity and courage. Systems, numbers, and knowledge are your allies in crafting a business story that’s not just successful, but also uniquely yours.

What would you advise – going all in on your strengths or investing on areas where you aren’t as strong to be more well-rounded?
Embracing your strengths wholeheartedly while acknowledging weaknesses is the key to a fulfilling business journey. By going all in on what you excel at, you operate in your zone of genius, sparking innovation and passion. Recognizing areas you’re not as strong in isn’t a setback, but an opportunity to collaborate with others whose strengths complement yours. This creates a culture brimming with support, growth, and care. In my experience, this approach not only accelerates business success but also fosters a team environment where everyone thrives, contributing their best to a collective vision. It’s about being a total boss in your domain while championing others in theirs.
