Meet Jaimie Anand

We recently connected with Jaimie Anand and have shared our conversation below.

Jaimie, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
I personally think confidence is gained from experience and continuous work within the field. If you feel confident, it will show to both the clients and your colleagues when you are out in the field working for whatever career you may be in.  Confidence also comes from preparation and knowledge within your particular field, when you truly spend time perfecting and learning your craft, you will naturally have confidence.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about your business?
I am the creative director and founder of a boutique design firm based in Austin, Texas.  Design is truly my passion and I love doing what I do. Our firm is a full service design firm, primarily focusing on Luxury new construction homes and Commercial design. We strive to be one of the best in our industry for high end design and to provide each client with a unique design that is recognizable as a part of the Jaimie Anand Interiors brand.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
There are many qualities that can lead to ones success, for myself personally I would say that my confidence, vision and love for the field of Interior design had to be the top three. My advice to all those on a path of pursing their dreams, don’t give up!! Success takes time and work, sometimes longer than one would hope, but in the end it is all worth it.

How would you describe your ideal client?
Our ideal client is one that has full trust in our skills and knowledge and believes in our vision for their space. We truly want to provide the perfect space for our clients and value their input and feedback, but when they have full faith in us to do our job, the space will be more than they could have envisioned.
