Meet Jasmine Clarke

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jasmine Clarke. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Jasmine, so happy to have you on the platform and I think our readers are in for a treat because you’ve got such an interesting story and so much insight and wisdom. So, let’s start with a topic that is relevant to everyone, regardless of industry etc. What do you do for self-care and how has it impacted you?
Self-care for me is found in various activities. I could be walking outdoors, practicing pilates, meditating, getting a massage or indulging in fine dining. The list is endless. I believe nurturing myself helps me show up more effectively in my work and in the world. These activities are essential for refueling my energy and maintaining my sense of calm and well-being. It’s all about making sure that I’m not pouring from an empty cup. When I take care of myself, I’m better able to serve others.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
As an esthetician, specializing in melanin-rich skin types, I’ve been in the beauty industry for over six years and my passion lies in helping women feel confident and beautiful in their skin.

What’s most exciting and special about my work is the transformative impact it has on my clients. I believe that skincare is more than just a routine, it’s a form of self-care and self-love. Through my treatments, I aim to not only improve the health and appearance of the skin but also to create a relaxing experience for each person who walks through my doors.

One of the things that sets So Jazzed Esthetics apart is our commitment to holistic skincare. We use natural and organic products and our treatments are tailored to each individual’s skin type and concerns. I believe in a holistic approach to beauty that considers not just the skin, but also the mind, body, and spirit.

I’m excited to announce that we’ll be expanding our skincare line with feminine hygiene products and soap making workshops. Our newest product is a feminine hygiene cleansing bar promoting natural care for intimate areas. This line will be available for May in honor of Mother’s Day and my mom, Teresa who is a uterine cancer survivor. I am inspired daily by our journey to commit to bettering our health daily. I want women to embrace the benefits of a holistic approach to wellness through skincare and the healing benefits of herbal ingredients.

Overall, I want people to know that So Jazzed Esthetics is more than just a holistic facial spa. It’s a place where people can come to relax, feel empowered and get excited about wellness internally and externally.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Looking back on my journey, I believe there are three qualities that have been most impactful: resilience, passion, and a willingness to learn.

Resilience has been crucial because the path of an entrepreneur is often filled with challenges and setbacks. There have been times when things didn’t go as planned, but I’ve always been able to adapt, hold on to my faith in God, pivot and keep moving forward.

Passion is what drives me to do what I do every day. I’m truly passionate about skincare and helping people feel confident and beautiful. The opportunity to educate people and see my clients happy with results, has kept me motivated and shows me lives are being transformed. Its truly purposed work.

A willingness to learn has also been key. The beauty industry is constantly evolving. I’ve always been eager to learn through continuing education courses, networking events and reading.

For those who are early in their journey, my advice would be to cultivate these qualities. Develop resilience by embracing challenges as opportunities for growth. Nurture your passion by staying true to what excites and motivates you. Also, never stop learning and being open to new opportunities for growth.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
Yes, I’m always open to partnering or collaborating with like-minded individuals or businesses. I’m interested in collaborating for speaking engagements, with other beauty professionals, skincare brands, wellness experts and even corporate companies who share my passion for further expansion in a holistic approach to wellness.

If you’re reading this and think we could collaborate, I’d love to hear from you to collaborate on something amazing. You can connect with me through my website www.sojazzedesthetics.com or via social media @iamjasmineclarke on instagram.
