Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Jasmyn with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
I think coming from a family of hardworking women and growing up in a small rural town helped me develop a strong sense of morality. We learnt how to do a lot of things on our own while growing up in the country. I learned from my mother and grandmother that anything is possible with effort and moral character. They instilled in me the values of doing my best in everything, as well as the value of practice, knowledge, and learning new skills. I am grateful for my upbringing because it helped me become the woman I am today.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
One of my greatest passions is providing desserts to people who have allergies and have never been able to enjoy pastries before. Our mission is to mainstream delectable desserts that are not only allergy-friendly, but are also delicious . We are a 100% vegan bakery that focuses on dairy-free, egg-free, soy-free, nut-free, and even some gluten-free options. We want to make sure that everyone has access to desserts no matter what your background is.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Integrity, flexibility, and the value of developing procedures are the main things that have kept my company afloat during these times. I would advise them to manage their process creation so that they can expand their businesses and to be open to change.

Yes, we do! We are constantly thinking of new ways to reach more people and provide everyone with sweets that are allergy-friendly!
