Meet Jason Gaines

We were lucky to catch up with Jason Gaines recently and have shared our conversation below.

Jason, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
My confidence and self-esteem can be credited to the many great people that have influenced my life. It’s not really something that I have found that comes naturally, as I believe we all have some level of self-doubt and hesitation at times.

I have had many great teachers, family members, and friends throughout my life, that have really helped shape who I am today. I really have no words to describe how thankful I am for those who have stood beside me when things were good and when times were not that great.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I’ve been very fortunate to be involved in film. I’ve served as an actor, producer, and investor. There are so many aspects of the industry that I enjoy. Mostly, I enjoy the people and the overall atmosphere on set.

When you are surrounded with many creative individuals, while working towards the goal of creating a great project, it’s really hard to describe the feeling. Everyone is working hard towards the same goal and there is really a sense of family. There can be long days and adapting to unforeseen events throughout the process, but is a great feeling of accomplishment, in the end. I’m truly grateful each time that I’m able to be involved.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I think the best qualities are being able to listen, follow directions, and apply the knowledge that you have learned. If you will truly listen, you are able to learn. Take what you have learned and apply it, to reach goals. There’s no telling what you may be able to accomplish, Lord willing.

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?
The most impactful thing that my parents did was to expose me to the arts. They loved music, so I naturally loved it as well. This eventually led to me exploring additional creative endeavors, such as film.
