When I founded iAutoAgent, my vision was to empower consumers with an equal footing when selling their cars, bypassing the time-consuming and money-draining traditional dealership process. Additionally, I recognized the complexity of buying vehicles, leaving consumers with limited options other than navigating the daunting process themselves. It was like entering a lawsuit without legal counsel.
At iAutoAgent, we initially focused on helping both individual consumers and business owners optimize their car sales, particularly with commercial fleet vehicles. Our nationwide Vehicle Finder Program further streamlined the process, providing a hassle-free experience. We took care of everything, from ensuring reliability to negotiating the best deals, all while keeping our clients in control of the final decision.
In 2023, we faced challenges as some dealerships attempted to interfere with private owners’ sales, undermining our clients’ confidence. To adapt, we made a pivotal shift, dedicating 90% of our efforts to helping fleets and 10% to individual consumers. This transformation led us to create a game-changing Done-for-You Fleet Management program, delivering end-to-end solutions for vehicle buying and selling, allowing businesses to focus on their core revenue-generating activities.
Embracing this new direction has brought incredible success to our brand, as we partner with businesses to handle time-consuming tasks and optimize their operations. If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in my journey as an entrepreneur were resilience, problem-solving, and having a growth mindset. Resilience allowed me to stay strong in the face of challenges, while a growth mindset helped me view setbacks as opportunities to learn and grow. Problem-solving was essential as I encountered daily challenges with my team and clients. My advice for those starting their journey is to cultivate these qualities by embracing challenges as learning experiences, continuously improving problem-solving skills, and ensuring their business addresses a genuine need in the world, not just what they think is needed.

Our ideal client is a business owner with a fleet of vehicles, either self-managed or overseen by a fleet manager. They possess a crucial mindset that values time as irreplaceable and recognizes the importance of prioritizing high-value tasks. Understanding that money can be replenished, they focus on optimizing their time and are aware of their worth per hour. By delegating low-dollar-per-hour tasks, they embrace the concept of opportunity cost, enabling them to drive their business towards greater efficiency and success.
