Meet Jazzlyn Ifeji – Pryor

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jazzlyn Ifeji – Pryor. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Jazzlyn, thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?
My resilience is embedded in my dna. Whenever there’s a setback or a “lesson,” that I had to fathom. I’ll acknowledge it, get up and dust myself off, and continue on my path to success. Now that I’m a mom of 3, I have absolutely no choice but to be resilient. I can’t go home and look at them and say, ” Mom is defeated, I can’t move forward.” The journey must continue, and I will prevail all adversities.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I’ve been a licensed esthetician for 5 years, going on 6. But Abiding Artistry has been in business for 5 years in April 2024 ( Anniversary Party Coming Soon!!) I love being able to not only enhance my clients outer beauty, but educate them on the largest organ on their body. The skin. Also, sharing some wisdom from my own experiences with skin issues.

Abiding Artistry provides holistic wellness. Where we pamper your body and nourish your soul. Our offerings extend beyond sugar waxing and ingrown hair removal to encompass rejuvenating body treatments and refreshing facials, as well as our FitMix fitness classes.

Lastly, we are having an exciting event on March 3, ” RadiateHER.” Where we expand on various topics about radiating the beauty within women. So please go follow us on all of our platforms for further updates!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The most impactful qualities on my journey definitely include: motivation, mental resilience, and emotional intelligence. If you are just getting started on your journey, my best advice would be to go within and work on yourself and change the way you think. Once you do that, you won’t resist what occurs on your journey, you will learn from it and grow. The best way to develop these skills are to be kind and take care of yourself, first!. Always observe how you’re feeling and your thoughts on a daily basis. Pay attention to how you act and ALWAYS celebrate the good, even if it’s little. Remember, if you can be 1% better than you were yesterday, you’ve done an amazing job! One task a day, will help you manifest your dream life. ( Manifest also means to act!).

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
The twelve universal laws of success has been a life changer for me. This specific quote has been mind alternating, ” In order for you to change your life for the better, you must affirmatively identify and specifically define what a better life means to you. Then you must choose to pursue this better life you have defined for yourself, and make the changes in your thinking and acting that will bring it about.” That quote and having a deep desire to change my reality has brought me where I am today.

The last quote from the book that I love states that, ” Work must be considered on an internal, spiritual level. It should not be seen as a “means to make a living,” but rather as a means to live your making.”  As long as the objective of your work is something outside yourself, you are being shortchanged.” Make sure you love what you do!
