Meet Jeremy Wang

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Jeremy Wang a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Jeremy, so excited to talk about all sorts of important topics with you today. The first one we want to jump into is about being the only one in the room – for some that’s being the only person of color or the only non-native English speaker or the only non-MBA, etc Can you talk to us about how you have managed to be successful even when you were the only one in the room that looked like you?
There aren’t many people who look like us in this industry, but we feel that it helps us to create a niche and stand out. We have had to learn to deal with many different people of various ages and backgrounds, and that has helped us to understand the different needs of different people and adapt.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
We specialize in move-in/out cleaning and window washing. While there may be other companies out there who offer similar services, we are unparalleled in our approach to communication, customer service, and providing the best quality of service out there.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
We have been fortunate enough to meet people who showed us the ropes and patiently guided us while we were starting our business. Sometimes we have had to do jobs that we didn’t want to do because the homes were really dirty, too far, or hard to deal with customers. However, we understand that not everyday is going to be a walk in the park and you can’t take the good without doing the bad. Perseverance, hard work, and keeping a good attitude always pays off in the end.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
We help many local Real Estate agents and Property Managers clean their homes and properties in preparation to be put on the market. It is a wise investment and a clean home will result in more interested buyers and renters. What’s the point of having a nice view or beautiful yard if you can’t see out of dirty windows to enjoy them?
