Meet Jesse Sasomsup

We were lucky to catch up with Jesse Sasomsup recently and have shared our conversation below.

Jesse, so many exciting things to discuss, we can’t wait. Thanks for joining us and we appreciate you sharing your wisdom with our readers. So, maybe we can start by discussing optimism and where your optimism comes from?
I became more optimistic when I understood there are things I can’t control but if I do, I will do it well for the best outcome! There’s always a solution to every problem.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

Earnest Homes is a Los Angeles property management company specializing in single-family homes, condos, and apartment buildings with fewer than 50 units. Established in 2015 as a franchise, it has evolved into a full-service model using technology to offer exceptional leasing, management, and brokerage services. With a commitment to reducing landlord stress, they boast an impressive eviction rate of less than 1%. The team acknowledges the challenges landlords face, particularly with evolving laws, and pledges 24/7 support. Their goal is to make property ownership a passive investment by handling daily operations and maintenance. Earnest Homes prides itself on client satisfaction, striving to ensure each feels valued and supported. Recognized as an award-winning company, they have cultivated expertise through working with high-yield properties and owners in Los Angeles. This experience drives their dedication to excellence in all client relationships.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Sales, Attitude, and being coachable are the 3 most impactful when you are new and looking to get into a career early on in life. After nearly a thousand interviews and training over a hundred people, these are the skills that are most valuable in an employee.

Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?
I picked up Awaken the Giant Within by Tony Robins at the age of 24 which is one of the most challenging periods in my life and this book put me in the right direction. The best golden nugget I learned from this book is it confirmed the belief I had in myself when I was 12 that I could be a businessman one day when everybody around you kept saying that you are just daydreaming. Keep toxic people away like a plague!
