Jessena Waldo &, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
Finding our purpose was a journey of self-discovery that was shaped by both personal experiences and professional growth. We have always been passionate about wine and the process of making wine which made a profound impact on us and led us to create our wine brand Divinely Elegant Vines, It wasn’t until we learned how to properly taste wine that we started to understand the grape and its varietals, terroirs and the science of it all. The most impactful thing we noticed was how each palate and taste is uniquely its own when drinking the same wine. This led us to realize that this was an avenue that we wanted to pursue by making it our own and creating a long-lasting legacy for our family.

Divinely Elegant Vines is a Woman-owned, Disabled Veteran, and Minority-owned wine brand based in Georgia. We specialize in producing premium wines and spirits with a unique and exquisite flavor that cannot be found anywhere else. Our business started with our love for the science of how wine is made and how each wine can taste so uniquely different to each palate. We strive to provide the best premium quality products, to our customers, using only the finest grapes grown on more than a dozen micro-vineyards throughout California that use sustainable farming practices. Our unique small-batch wines are crafted with passion and dedication to bring you the best of California. We are committed to ensuring that each bottle will be a divine and elegant experience. Since our initial operation starting in 2023, we have noticed, a great deal of change in the regional and global wine scene. We are proud to graciously play our part in continuing to move forward and align the palate and perceptions of how wine should taste and feel. Future events for this year where our wine will be featured, include the Summer Breeze Festival and Baldie Con. The sole purpose of the Summer Breeze festival is to provide scholarships for youth in four different service areas including Jackson, Yazoo, Canton, and Vicksburg Ms. Tickets can be purchased at https://summerbreezems.myimpacttickets.com/browse. Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Continuous learning and attending many knowledge-based classes. tasting and enjoying various types of wines from regions in the US, Europe, South America, Asia, and Africa. Another impactful result was our interaction with other wine connoisseurs, sommeliers, and everyday people who enjoy wine according to their tastes and preferences. The advice that we can share is to stay consistent in following your passion, put your family first, and always bet on yourself.

Yes! We are currently looking to connect with restaurants, liquor and wine stores, lounges, wine bars, and wine boutiques throughout the country.
